We are pleased to share this CSAVR Spring Conference 2024 Call for Proposals.  Our conference will be held April 8-10, 2024, at the Hyatt Regency, Bethesda, MD.  Our theme is Policy, Practice and Performance – Partners for Tomorrow and Innovation for the Future. Please note, due to an earlier than usual spring meeting, proposal are due February 23, 2024!  

 

Proposals should demonstrate modern strategies and practices connected to the conference theme and show a direct relationship with one of CSAVR's three strategic priorities as we look ahead to raise to the bar and innovate across the public vocational rehabilitation profession:

 

• Recruit and retain Vocational Rehabilitation staff.

• Redesign and streamline internal processes.

• Increase public awareness of VR services.

 

The attachment suggests several thematic areas for your consideration.  Embedded in the attachment is a link to upload the proposals.

 

For your planning purposes, up to sixteen (16) proposals will be selected for in-person presentations, tentatively all scheduled for either Monday or Tuesday, April 8 or 9.  We intend to have four (4) concurrent sessions each over four (4) time blocks.

 

This is our first post-pandemic spring conference where we are returning to a focus on policy and practice.  However, we have changed the structure of the meeting as we are not sponsoring a Day on the Hill.  This permits us to fill the agenda with more interactive sessions and multiple opportunities for learning and networking.
